Precision Rugby 13s Edition – 2021 English League

This set contains full team cards for all 12 teams in the top level of rugby league in England and France, with home and away team ratings and individual try scoring and goal kicker ranges.

A second season in a row hit by the COVID-19 pandemic saw a historic minor premier as for the first time Catalans became league leaders at the end of the regular season, which was sealed by a famous 31-30 golden point win over defending champions St. Helens at Newcastle Weekend, where the French club scored three tries in the final four minutes to level the scores, before kicking a winning drop goal in extra time that guaranteed them the shield.

Catalans would become the first non-English club to reach the Grand Final when they beat Hull KR 28-10 in the semi-final, but would be joined by their season-long rival St. Helens when they dispatched Leeds 36-8.

A tight Grand Final would swing in both directions before Kevin Naiqama scored his second try of the night in his final game for the club, and Lachlan Coote kicked the conversion with 13 minutes left, before St. Helens hung on to claim a 12-10 victory, denying a historic first-ever championship for a French club, but instead it was the Merseyside club’s third straight title to match the Leeds sides of the late 2000s.

At the bottom of the table, after being drafted in to replace Toronto, Leigh took 17 attempts before finally winning against Salford, before adding a second win against Wakefield. However, that would not be enough to see them relegated straight back to the Second League

The following dice are required to play Precision Rugby 13s: one twenty-sided (d20), two to three six-sided dice (d6) of different colours or sizes and a ten-sided die (d10).

A quick summary of game play.  Match up two teams by selecting their team cards.  Use the team ratings to determine the modified ranges for Scoring Chance, Try and Kick at Goal.  Roll four dice (d20, 2d6 and d10).  Refer to the d20 (also known as the scoring die).  If the d20 result is within the scoring range of either team, that team has a scoring opportunity that will be resolved using the 2d6.  The d10 indicates the amount of time that has passed.  Individual players and goal kickers are listed with their tries and kick ranges though the game may be played without assigning individual statistics.
